- Job Brief:
TrueTrips is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and ambitious Senior Travel Expert, with at least 3 years of experience in the travel industry to join our team in the Travel Sales & Operations department. Using their in-depth knowledge, successful candidates will design and execute tailor-made luxury itineraries from start to finish.
Specifically, by following our sales strategy and processes, they will be responsible for converting leads into bookings to ensure that sales targets are achieved on a monthly and yearly basis. Once a trip is booked, they will be involved in the execution phase (booking services, issuing tickets etc), and maintain the highest customer service standards.
Reporting to the Travel Experts Manager, Senior Travel Experts will manage key projects, monitor and contribute to day-to-day operations, ensure processes are followed, and instil the company ethos.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or M.Sc. in Business, Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or similar relevant field.
- Excellent command of English (multilingualism will be considered a plus / solid writing skills in English will be highly valued).
- A minimum of 3 years proven track record in designing and executing trips, ideally for high-end guests.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Solid knowledge of computer reservations systems & GDS systems (i.e. FORTHcrs, Amadeus, Olympic Air platforms, Webhotelier, etc).
- Ability to work in shifts during weekdays.

- Design tailor-made itineraries for a wide range of upscale client segments, from honeymooners to families.
- Follow a start to finish trip process including planning, budgeting, implementing and confirming services; and assisting guests during their travel dates.
- Convert sales leads with a mix of email and phone contact to build client rapport and trust.
- Offer gold-standard client service at all stages.
- Effectively handle escalated client issues.
- Maintain and proactively expand product knowledge, keeping abreast of all latest industry news and developments to ensure expertise and specialisation in our destinations.
