Dating back to the 1600’s this classic Tuscan building acted as a “Stazione di Posta”; a warm and comforting residence where pilgrims on their way to Rome could stop and rest for the night. Over time the house became a farmstead, occupied by families of farmers, cultivating wheat and crops in the surrounding fields. Located in Tuscany, Pienza, in the middle of Val d'Orcia Unesco Heritage site the farmhouse was completely renovated and as off 2004 once again caters to visitors looking to discover the beauty, tranquility and serenity of the Tuscan countryside. Maintaining the original structure, wooden beams, brick walls, stone arches and even the ancient well, this magnificent property will provide both a luxurious and authentic experience.
