PANAGIA EKATONTAPILIANI

This historic Byzantine church is one of the most important early Christian monuments in Greece. Inside the cathedral and its surrounding chapels, you’ll find many impressive icons dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF PAROS

The museum recounts the history of Paros from the Neolithic period to early Byzantine times. It houses a collection of noteworthy exhibits including Nike of Paros and a colossal marble statue of Artemis.

THE MONASTERY OF AGIOS ANTONIOS

This is one of the most picturesque pilgrimage sites in Paros. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, it was a great religious and philanthropic center that contributed to the local economy and education.

VENETIAN FORTRESS

Located in the charming old port of Naoussa, the Venetian Fortress was constructed in the 15th century as a watchtower and the first line of defense in the event of pirate or enemy attacks.

Frankish Castle

This Venetian castle was built in 1260 in the traditional settlement of Parikia. It is famous for its exquisite stonework that utilizes marble, as well as other materials scavenged from ancient temples around the island.

The Ancient Marble Quarries

Famed throughout the ancient world, Paros’ quarries at Marathi produced flawless white marble of incomparable quality. Marble from the Marathi quarries was used to construct Napoleon’s tomb in 1844.
